ERS-4550T-PWR & UPS

Hi there,

I have connected my Avaya IPO and 50 port switch to a APC uninterrupted power supply (UPS) unit to keep the phone system alive during a power cut.

When I kill power to the UPS unit to simulate a powercut the 50 port PoE ERS-4550T-PWR switch looses power for what must be a split second; so all my IP phones reboot.

Is a different type of UPS (online) the only answer ?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

you could try a Ethernet Routing Switch RPS 15
