errpt not working 1

When trying to do an "errpt" to check the error log, I am getting the following error:

# errpt
0315-021 Cannot open error message catalog /usr/lib/nls/msg/en_US/codepoint.cat.
The error report will still run, but it will not have explanatory messages.
IDENTIFIER TIMESTAMP T C RESOURCE_NAME DESCRIPTION

Is the errdemon process running? (ps -ef | grep errdemon)

It looks as if you don't have a filesyste installed on the system. Type: lslpp -l | grep -i codepoint.cat

If you don't get two returns (one for the file in the error message and one for /var/adm/ras/codepoint.cat, you will need to install the fileset bos.msg.en_us.rte.
