I have an error in errpt but I cant seem to find any referance as to what its telling me. I checked this Web site but I did not find referance to it

It is saying that there is some kind of hiccup with the parallel port. This is indicated by the "ppa0:lp0" information under "Resource Name".

Check the settings for your parallel port, the cable or printer.

Have you installed some card conflicting with your parallel port?

Have you tried [tt]lsresource -r - d -l ppa0[/tt]?
I hope it works...

After looking furthur into this it appears it was a microcode problem. I have upgraded the microcode & rebooted several times & its been running for almost 2 days clean. Thanks for the Tips. I will need to keep the lsresource in mind I am not real familiar with this command! Thanks again everyone.
