errors with the password daemon in aix

I am now haveing problems changing a password. When i go to smitty passwd, i get the following error:

Changing password for "ujewell"
ujewell's New password:
Enter the new password again:
yppasswd: 1831-155 could not change passwd
3004-709 Error changing password for "ujewell".
Press Enter to continue.
