Errors when creating new user in lotus notes

When prompt to "Choose a Certifier", i selected cert.id, enter the password and click ok. and this error message came out
Error updating certifier ID

The following error occured while trying to update the certificates stored in the Certifier ID with those from the directory on the server you selected:
The Public key that is being used does not match the one that was certified.
Do you wish to continue without updating the Certifier ID?


Please help and thanks a million

This normally alerts someone to the fact that the ID is the wrong one. Have you always used this cert to Certify users, or is this something new?

jus taken over the server from the old vendor. Anyway to create a new certifier ID ?
