Errors Printing after Changing IP address

I have a HP 8000 printer setup on a NT server using JET Direct Port. I am printing via the Hardware address to the printer. I have recently changed the IP address of the printer and redone the printer port on the server. I cannot get large documents to print on the printer now. I get printer errors when I view the printer and it will print about 5 pages and then restart the job. I can que 1 job to print and it will que 3 to 4. Any Ideas.

Here`s some troubleshooting steps to try:

1) Connect printer to the parallelport to see if error is on the LAN connection only.
2) Try and use a generic driver (The one that comes with windows)
3) Try with another PCL driver.
4) Lower the resolution to 300 DPI.
5) Install the latest upgrades / patches (Servicepaks, Firmware upgrade on the JetDirect card)
6) Use the HP standard TCP/IP port instead of windows own (ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/hpspmnt.exe).
7) Increase timeout settings and buffer on the JD card ( &
