I am putting together a system with various old components, and trying to get it to boot. The hard drive is a clone of a working system. The boot gets all the way to the letter "G", where I get the following message "G hd_config" WARNING: hd: No Root Disk Controller Was Found. Then I get a kernel trap panic and it shuts down to the "Press Any Key To Reboot" prompt.

Any ideas? Thanks,

Joe

Seems that the cloned system has a different disk controller.
You may try this at the Boot: prompt
hd(40)unix.install

BTW, are you aware of the SCO licence violation ?

Hope This Helps, PH.
