Errors if pdf filename contains a % character

Posted a pdf (a Framemaker book printed to Distiller 4). Filename contained a % character. Some people on the network cannot open and/or print this pdf. Are special characters not allowed in pdf filenames? Thanks-

Not just PDF... any filename, would be my guess. I imagine that your users would have similar problems with My%Document.doc and This%filename.xls, etc.

Try it and see!
