Errors during verify using Backup Exec

When backing up data files using Backup Exec Desktop on a Windows 95 workstation, I get the following error message for all of the files: "does not match the original". Files are on a Novell 4.2 server, in a token ring environment. The error does not occur when backing up files locally on the workstation.
