Error

HI All

I have been getting a few problems where MYSQL just seems to stop running, and the only thing that fixes it is a full server reload.
The mysql logs are showing the following..

Number of processes running now: 2
mysqld process hanging, pid 1955 - killed
mysqld process hanging, pid 1955 - killed
030319 00:32:33 mysqld restarted
030319 0:32:33 Can't start server: Bind on TCP/IP port: Address already in use
030319 0:32:33 Do you already have another mysqld server running on port: 3306 ?
030319 0:32:33 Aborting

Any ideas at all

What version o Linux are you using?

I had the same problem with Mandrake.

I am using Red Hat 8.0

How did you resolve the problem by the way?
