I have a NAS and when I try to connect to it from one of the server 2008 machine, I get "error 0x80070035-The network path was not found". Firewall is turned off. The other server 2008 can see it fine. From my pc all I see is printers and faxes and a Mac share folder, but not the folder I want which it is being shared. Can someone tell me why I am not able to connect to it from the server and why I cant see the folder I need from my pc?

Can you ping the device? Are you mapping the share by IP or by name?

Ye I can ping it. I am mapping a folder named backup by the name. This is what confuses me: If I look at the NAS from microsoft windows networks from my pc, all I see is MACShare, rflores (me), Printers and Faxes. The folders have something underneath each of them, not like the regular hand for sharing but something like a T connection. If I look at the NAS from a microsoft windows networks from a server that I console to, I get administrator, c,home, MacShare, Printers and Faxes. If I go to a browser and type the IP address and log in i get the NAS but with no shares. I know there is a share because I was able to map the backup folder to a drive in my pc. Your thoughts please!
