has anyone experienced errors when using softphone R6 SP6 on CM 5.1 with Windows 7?
Receive errors when trying to install on Windows 7.

I think in the readme file, it sais it does not work with Windows 7 X64, it might work with X32.

I have never been able to get Softphone R6 to load on Vista or Win7. It has only worked for me on XP and below...

I had to go to R7 to get it to work on Vista or Win7. I have it running on X64 too...

With Windows7 you will need to move to one-X Communicator/one-X Desktop.

We have IP Softphone R6 SP5 - specifically 6.01.89 running successfully on Win-7. (This is the only R6 Version I've found that works on Win-7.)

Hi All,
As the last post on this thread was in February, I wondered if anyone had any more up-to-date info in this one.
Thanks,

Hi Brett,
Yes, R6 SP7.
I've not had a play with Win 7 yet, customer wonders if he runs Win 7 in XP mode if it'll be OK.
I think maybe an upgrade to One-X Communicator is in order.

You can use the Avaya One X Communicator with Win 7. It is backward compatible to CM3.

Using One-X - Any thoughts on why I can make one call and have talk-path, but additional calls will ring through but no talk-path/sound at all?

One x version onexc_5.2.0.23SP4 should help with the talk path issue.

Avaya Softphone will work on Window 7 32bit with some tweaking.

Avaya Softphone will not work on Windows 7 64bit you have to go to one-x communciator
