Error with console keyboard

Hi there

When I using Solaris 8 for intel boot disk to install Solaris 8 on my AT&T PC. It came with "Error with console keyboard" and "ioetl (kbd type): Invalid argument" messages on screen. Then my AT&T keyboard wouldn't response any more. Does anyone had the same experience? How can you fix it?
