i have a report containing a field which automatically puts in the current date. This is in the format of =Date(). It works fine on one computer, but on another one for some reason it comes up with the error of #name?

has anyone else encountered this problem, or does anyone know a reason why this may not be working?? James Goodman

hi,

i 'm not a 100% sure , but i think it's got something to do with the installation options, of access, you should try and see if all components are installed, e.g. vba-support.

hope this does it
