Error while serialization of objects for websphere

When i try to run the e generator,it gives me error unable to connect to the JAS server. I runing it in the indirect mode, by specifying the jas server name directly.

Have you tried it using the direct generation? Also, are the JAS services up on the JAS server? Have you configured the JAS.INI on the eGen machine?
