I have 14 servers in my farm and one won't allow me to publish any apps, including the desktop. I'm running PS4.0 with the rollup patch and a few printer patches. When I try to publish the app I get all the way through the entire process, press finish and I get this error window. "Error Writing Application" and in the info box it says. "Unable to verify all the settings of the application pertaining to server: XXXXXXXXX" I'm using Paint for a test app. I have tried other servers and they publish just fine....any ideas would really be appreciated.

DO you have applications already explicitly published on this server? If not you could try rejoining the citrix farm using the CHFARM.exe command.
Be warned that this may however remove all previously explicitly defined apps on the server?
Hope it might help and as usual always take a backup etc or do in a test environment first
