Error while creating new Job Code: JOBTABLE_CD - CURRENCY_CD

i am trying to create a new job code. i have filled pretty much everything, but it continouly prompts me with this javascript alert error message saying that

Field is required: JOBTABLE_CD - CURRENCY_CD

I have HRMS 9.0. i'll appreciate any help
