Are creating any connection to retrieve the data from excel. Or Are you using that personal data file?

Hello Nimmy,

I am using the Personal Data files and the same Issue I have with text files. Please let me know if you have any suggestion.

Thanks

Try running
CDDRIVE:\Vol1\microsoft\DATAACC\DATAACC.exe
There is a subdirectory on the installation disk labels "Microsoft" with a installation file for restoring the proper version of DATAACC. There is a readme file there
too which you can check out. Once you install this and reboot the problem should disappear

Hope this will help you to solve your issue

Hello Nimmy,

I tried restoring the proper version of DATAACC but in vain,as it seems I have installed MS Office 2000,and this set up does not seems to be correcting the Registry,so the problem is still there,If you know how do do it manually, that might work or some other solution u might have !!!

Hi Steve,

I read the tech support site and change the DAO dll version from 3.6 to 3.5 but it did not work for me,it looks like the BO version 5.1 which I am using is not compatible with windows 2000, Is there any patch which I can install for to upgrade the current version to resolve this issue.

Thanks

Raj

BO is completely compatible with Windows 2000. Which EXACT version of BO are you on? The current version is 5.1.7.

Hello Steve,

The Bo version I am using is 5.1.1, but I read somehwere, I might have to upgrade it to 5.1.3 which for me is not possible, I would welcome any other way around for this issue.

Thanks

Raj
