We use Seagate Info 7 and we oftentimes email crystal report out to various users. We usually just install the viewer with the executable SICVW32.exe and the users could view the report without a problem. Now with Windows 2000 we are noticing that even if we install the viewer on their machine they get the following error when trying to open the report:
Cannot find file 'file-name.rpt' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.
This only happens with Windows 2000 machines. These users can still use Info Desktop and CAN view successful instances within Info Desktop. It's only when they try to view an .RPT file that was emailed to them. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?
Thanks,
Bessebo
