By connecting through VPN to a remote Linux server, I managed to use sftp to download files (both binary & ascii) to my Windows XP system. I use the Cisco VPN client for the vpn connection.

However, when I tried to upload file to the Linux server, I could only suceessfully do it with ascii files. When I tried to upload binary files, the transfer always get aborted. It always get aborted after transfer about 4000 bytes.

I have tried with different ftp client such as Winscp but still the same error.

Does anyone knows what could be the problem? Appreciate any pointers.

Thank you.
