Error when upload annoucements for G430

Hi,

I'm trying input a .wav file on G430 but when I do the ASA show me error saying: invalid wav file. However, I can use this .wav file in other Gateway (G450). This format is different? Isn't CCITT u-law 8.000kHz, 8 Bit, Mono? I use software Switch Sound File Converter.


Have idea?

64 kbps, 8 bit, mono, 8 khz, CCITT u-law is correct. If you right click on the wav file and look at properties, does it have the correct settings..?

I use sound recorder on my XP laptop to convert the wav file

Yes, is that format I convert the files, but when I input on G430 tell me that invalid wav file.
Can you give me one .wav file (dropbox e etc) for I can test?

So, with this .wav file that incorrect on G430 I can input on G450 normaly.
In this G430 already has annoucements work fine, but, only when I input news give me a error =/

What program converter you use?

Give me one .wav file converted for you, then I test here ! Can be?

You're using VAL Manager? The only information it provides is an error message: invalid wav file

No other information?

What if you copy one of the existing messages off of the gateway and change the name of the wav file to the new announcement you're trying to upload? Does it still give you the error?

Yes man, no give me other information or error.
So, I did bkp of annoucements that already exists - all files - and on the folder is blank. When I bkped only 1 annoucement this return me one file, with extension *ann

have you actually got space left on the val board to fit the ann on it???
