Error when trying to open a project in Framework Manager:

We are working on two servers of different versioned cognos. One with cognos framework manager BMTFW – 8.4 2409 0 and other with BMTFW - 8.3 808 0
i created a package in first machine. When i copied the project folder to 2nd m/c and trying to open the .cpf file in the 2nd m/c Framework manager whose version is BMTFW - 8.3 808 0 it is throwing an error: "This model was created with a more recent version of Framework Manager."

Is this occurring only due to diff versions of Framework or any other. what things i to do to get it work well

Always make sure that you develop in te oldest C8 version, then migrate to a higher version and test. This stands both for reports as well as FM..
