Error when shutting down Oracle 10g Enterprise Manager

I am very new with Oracle and I installed it in my laptop with windows vista and i have no problem logging in to the Enterprise Manager but when i click on the shutdown button,after a few seconds it shows a brown bar saying Error Message, then Windows pops out a message screen saying the oracle Enterprise manager executable has stopped working. I tried going with the find online solution option but it doesnt seem to find anything.

I am just wondering if there is a patch that i will need to install or some set-up that i will need to reconfigure.
