Error when refreshing ccms

Hey all,

It's a busy day for posting today....

we have:

ccms, standby and replicated, ccma replicated all current peps and patches

when we try to refresh one of our sites or add agents, alter skillsets etc we get the following error:

Update Failed: The server could not be refreshed. Error: -2147221502 Invalid Login Sequence Error [40884]
Source: IceSecurity.COMSecurity.1

any clues anyone?

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

On your CCMS server, log into Server Utility using sysadmin account. It might ask you to accept the License Agreement. If so, accept it and change the password to whatever you want. If it doesn't ask you to accept the License Agreement but you still login with problems, go to next step.

Now, go back to CCMA, login using webadmin account. Go to Configuration, right click on Server name and chose Edit Properties. Update last field with sysadmin password that you set in step1.

Try refreshing your server now

Also, you might need to change your IceAdmin password on CCMA

we discovered that it was a DNS name fault in the network, after we had swapped between active and standy by ccms's
