Hi,
I have tried about 5 times to put a movie on dvd-rw disc and it never works. I have changed settings each time. 4 times it could play on my DVD player but it was always really jerky and stopped half way through.
However the laSt time I did it I got the following error "Could not complete the last command because: Video picture size larger than buffer. (DVDErr, -1)PGC Info: name = Movie 1, ref = Apgc, time = 56.04" I have no idea what this means.
The only settings I know I used are PAL, VBR pass 2, and I put it on the highest setting for quality aswell as PCM for sound. I have tried a lot of setting and wasted a lot of time and I'm getting nowhere.

Any help would be tremendous.
Thanks in advance

well, first try to check your software, adobe premiere is a good editting tool but thats it, try to get another plugins or aditional software to do your work.

In the mean time you do that, i have a question, is there a particular cause for you to send it in a PAL FORMAT and the VERY HIGH QUALITY?

In which format is your original movie file?

Let me tell you that in the regular programs and with the regular tools is dificul to get the VERY BEST RESULTS, sometimes what I do is to go one step lower.

I will wait for your answers.

I put it on PAL cos its a PAL Television (u.k)
and also put it on highest quality because id tried loads of other settings which havent worked so I thought i'd try the nest quality to see how it works.
The format of the movie files are MPEG and AVI.

maybe the problem is from root, next time try to work with non compressed avi files.

use

MPEG2
VARIABLE BITRATE
INTERLACED
ONE PASS
BITRATES:
7.000
8.500
3.825

AND IF YOUR USING AUDIO USE MP3

IF THIS DOESNT WORK GET A GOOD TRANSCODER.

GOOD LUCK!
