Without changing anything I'm no longer able to publish via Frontpage to my website. All worked ok for 2 years, then a week ago I got the error - Server error: cannot create folder "admin"
I have no idea what this means or how to get round the problem. I don't think it's a problem with my webspace as I can upload a test site to the same space. I've installed Frontpage on my spare laptop and copied the site across, then tried publishing from there and still the same error.
Any suggestions???

One of the things I'd try is to access your directory on the server (In my case, I'd use "FTP Dummy!"), and manually create an empty folder named "admin" in the appropriate directory/subdirectory. If it's not already there, of course.

Good luck,

Unless the two sites are of equal complexity, nothing is proven. Does the real site have a database?

I think "Server error" says it all.

Any time I have had publishing difficulties it has been the server extensions.
