I get the following error when I try to run my SMS package update for SMS 2003. This is what shows in the execmgr.log:

Execution is complete for program Microsoft Update - Windows 2003 Server - Test Grp. The exit code is 0, the execution status is FailureNonRetry execmgr 6/21/2006 9:54:22 AM 2548 (0x09F4)

And from the patchinstall.log:

This was an advertisement that was sent with an install ASAP status. Any ideas?

this is because the date you made the patch expired before you pushed it...take out the ummmmmmmmmmmm..... /L switch?

I think the default is 90 minutes in the itmu wizard (I'm not near a console (vacation))

the /l switch I'm talking about basically does,

prevents the patch from running if it was not initiated by 90 minutes from the time the client saw the advertisement running

anyway like I said get rid of the l switch or change the creation date of the itmu package and you should be fine

He's right again, crikey. I'm away from the board for a day or so, and I come back and there's like 30 new posts and Tim's returned.
Been hardly any activity on here for the last fortnight.

Tim, get back in the sun.

Hope this Helps.
