Error when installing winset on home pc

As I can't get an answer from Aspect's website, I was wondering if anyone has come across the following error when installing the program:

"An error occured while setting the "Interact with Desktop" flag for the Telephony Service"?

After the install reboot, winset will not start.
Thank you for your help,

What winset release? What OS are you installing to? Was winset installed on it before this new install?
