Error when installing....SU0349

Here is the error message i get when installing Windows ME:

Error SU0349
A mismatched SETUPX.DLL is loaded. Setup cannot continue. Quit all Windows and MS-DOS-based programs, and then try again. Or quit Windows and then run Setup from MS-DOS.

I tried what it says but i didnt work. Any suggestions?

try removing setupx.dll So long and thanks for all the fish.
