Error when installing SP2 on WIN2k3

During an attempt to update my OS that is running Exch 2003 I've received an error. I checked the Event Viewer and found this, I haven't yet restarted the machine as I haven't had a chance to, but does anyone happen to have any input on this possibly? I ran the update through the Windows Update webpage and I've also downloaded the file in the case the download did not work. I haven't attempted the apply the service pack using the file itself however.

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8007f205: Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (32-bit x86).

Sounds like you need to reboot and try to install the update again. windows installer is probably hung. see the following link for more:

If you look at the error code you will see an explanation.

0x8007f205 -2146962939 STR_UPDATE_ALREADY_RUNNING Setup has detected that another update is in progress. Please complete that installation or removal and try again.
