Error when installing Oracle 8.1.6

When attempting to install Oracle 8.1.6 on Solaris 8.0 , on a Sun Ultra5 workstation. I receive the following error message after I begin the install from ./runInstaller "class not found

racle.sysman.oii.oiic.OiicInstaller" Would appreciate any input thanks.

I'm assuming you are running the install the "oracle" user,
right?
