Hi,
I'm a newbie so go easy on me. With that said....
I have a form. That I am trying to creat a data adapter in.
IN server explorer, I have a connection to an access 2000 database. I drag and drop the table into my form and I get the following error window:

The wizard detected the following problems when configuring the data adapter for 'tbl_positions'.
Details:
Generated SELECT statement.
IErrorInfo.GetDescription failed with E_FAIL(0x80004005)

That is all greek to me.
What IS wierd is the table works fine in access. And the other 7 tables in the database drag and drop just fine in to a form. It is just this one table that blows up.
I have done the "repair" on the access database with no luck.

TIA
Jeff

Okay I figured it out....
I had a field in the table named "position" ... that must be a reserved word or something for vb.net.
Is that true???

Most likely.
