Error when checking email via Domino Web Access

Hi i am able to log into notes via domino web access but when i click on mail or inbox I get an error from internet explorer that says:

Error encountered retrieving data. Click the browser's Refresh button to reload the page.


so i click refresh but nothing happens, i just get the error again. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
 
You don't say what version you're running, but there are several possible causes. The one I've run into most often is that your mailbox has a message with international characters that the web interface can't deal with. You can use the Notes client software to deal with that message (or ask your administrator to do so).

If that's not the case, Google the error message - you'll find a slew of possible causes.
 
Try deleting all of your temporary internet files, close the browser, reopen and try again.
 
thanks for the help, the problem was the client was accessing through a VERY slow dial up connection and notes timed out when trying to access the database. i cleaned the registry, and ran disk checks and that seems to have helped...he really just needs a faster connection i believe
 
Have you tried iNotes? Works better over a dial up than webaccess.
