It is an 008 MLX card. And when I plug a phone into one of the ports it is dead. So I connected to the system using WinSPM on my laptop, and it gave me an error:

WinSPM cannot recognize the circuit pack in slot 12.
Quick Access will not be available until this situation is resolved.

Note: ATL circuit packs can only be used on MERLIN LEGEND systems.

Any insight into this issue would be much appreciated.

Thanks
D

1-When you add a card to the Legend, do a "board renumber" off the system menu.
2-When powering up the multiple cabinet Legend, turn on from right to left, in your case, power on cabinet 2 then cabinet 1.
3-WinSPM may not recognize some of the older cards on older releases, but it can still be used, just not with the quick access.
4-Try Maintenance-Slot-Status on you newly added board, and see if there are errors. TipHelp@charter.net

Thanks for the reply.

I tried the card in several slots in cabinets 1 and 2, and it still won't recognize it, much less give me dial tone when I plug a phone into it. So I just think the board is bad.
