Did anyone get the error"invalid global script variable name" as a pop up error when activating a script? Strange problem. I could not use any new script variable on the server.

Recieve the below error. Anyone have any clue?

Request to OAM failed: NIOAM_dwTFItemAdd. (Return Code: 7. File/Function: .\tf_admin.cpp/tfl_validateAndLockCallVar : line 975.)

Invalid Resource Name: (spg_eng_ran1_gv. File/Func: .\gresource_tbl.cpp/ResourceTbl::validateRes : line 473)

dummyspy,

Are all services in the SMonW monitoring window up? Also, have you restarted the Server? Sometimes restarting the server solve the problem :)

:( That will be the last choice I will choose... Sob.... All services were up... Suddenly the server become very very slow..... And I got this problem..

Try to restart all services by selecting the startup icon on the server. this might boost the services.

Did you ever find the solution for this. I have the exact same problem with Version 5.0

despite the services on smon all being up, sometimes they are not. try restarting and make sure you have all the latest pep's.

he's right for some strang reason restarting nearly always fixes the problem

Kinda like Windows Restart Fixes.

If Bill Gates had a nickle for everytime windows had to be restarted.....oh wait, he does.

dummyspy is the secondary NIC on WCS turned down. That was our problem and it was slowing down TFE. If you are doing Multicasting then this would cause problems for that too.
