Error was RAP86

Hi

I am using 2.2.8 on solaris 8, when users try to change there own password they get the following.

$smbpasswd test_1

$Old SMB password
machine 127.0.0.1 rejected the password change: Error was : RAP86: the specified password is invalid

root can change user passwords ok.

disabling the unix password sync will cure this, but the users then have to change both separately. (better than not being able to change the smbpasswd at all)

Thanks for your sugestion, stanhubble. I have tried this already and it doesn't seem to work. I will have to keep on looking.
