Error upon installation

Hello Everyone,

I am installing Great Plains Version 6.0 on a laptop with Windows 98. I am getting an error when I am trying to open Great Plains. The error states "Unable to initializw the P.SQL database manager. Do you wish to continue?" Does anyone know why this is happening? The application will not open.

I have never encountered this error before.
