Error updating Windows NT authentication properties 1

When trying to updated users/groups in Crystal Enterprise 9 using Windows NT authentication (Crystal Management Console | Manage Authorization ) the following error displays:

"Error updating Windows NT authentication properties: NT Authentication failed to verify the mapped groups. If the problem persists, please delete and re-map into Crystal all currently mapped groups."

Any ideas on what could cause this error? Prior to this week, it was a non-issue and things were working correctly.

There is a group in your list of WinNT groups in the CMC -> Authorization window that does not exist any more on your WinNT server.

The CMC can't synch all the groups on your list, so the job dies.

If you manually remove the bad group(s) from your list of WinNT groups in the CMC -> Authorization window, you should be able to Synch OK again.
