Hello to all

When I try to upload a voice file to a CCR Menu Node Properties (a wav file with the correct format) to the callpilot ... I have the next error. This is a BCM 50 R3

I disabeled the voicemail service and nothing.. y restart the bcm from the electrical power and the problem continue.

I had the same thing happen.

1. If you create the wav file on SoundRecord or another application (e.g. Interalia XMU Message Mgr) and try and upload it.
2. If you export it and adjust volume/amplitude in SoundRecord or Interalia XMU Message Mgr.
3. The last one was taking a wav from a BCM 400 and trying to import into a BCM 450, it was far too loud and distorted.

I'd create on a BCM 50 and then export it to your computer it can be loaded into other BCM 50's but I'd be reluctant to try loading it into a 400 or 450.

but the problem is that if I download the actual msg of the call pilot and try to upload it again.. I have the problem.. If I tray to upload the message that I can upload in Other identical bcm (Version etc) I have the same problem

These systems have the consistency of unripened jello.
I just tried to duplicate this on a BCM 450 but it accepted the modified file...although it was exported from a BCM 450 then I reduced the volume in the Interalia message manager and uploaded it, now it's distorted but it accepted it.

I was able to create this error on a BCM 400 though.

Sound Record wouldn't even let me open the modified wav file I had to use Interalia Msg Manager.

I suspect it has something to do with your security software tagging imported files or is modifyin files making them unacceptable to the BCM. If I don't modify the file in any way I can upload and download them with no problem.

What's really silly is that had we paid a professional recording service for our menu prompts we couldn't use the same wave files across our different BCM's and our CS1000 Callpilots and would have had to rerecord them for each vintage of BCM.

Sorry I couldn't help you further.
