We have a HP Procurve 8000M switch with three VLANs set up on it. At the weekend we had the fibre connectors replaced.
Since then we have lost network connectivity to the printers VLAN and the Wireless AP VLAN but not the default VLAN.
Running a pint test on the switch (on either the AP or Printers VLAN) results in the following error: Error -- The network on this VLAN is down.
Ping test works ok on the default VLAN. I changed the printers ip addresses to ones on the default VLAN and without moving them to different ports ( I assigned the ports to the default VLAN) on the switch they were able to connect to the network.
I have rebooted the switch to no avail.
I have also tried deleting the VLANs but get the message: Unable to delete record.
The only thing I can think of next is to disable VLAN support, reboot and then re-enable it and reset up the VLANs. Will try this after hours (it's 12:45 am here at the moment) unless anyone has some other suggestions.
