Hi All,
Good Morning.

We have installed MAS200 Workstation recently on our new machine( on XP os). We are not able to open any Reports (system generated reports not the crystal reports)and whenever we attempt to open we are getting the following error:

"File.../home/textout/T1091.tmp not found."

All the other workstations are working fine and we can use the reports.

We could not find this particular file in other workstations. May we know if anybody has any solutions for this problem.

Thanks in advance.
Tom

Run "setup.exe" from the workstation. The file is found in the Mas90 folder "MAS90\WKSETUP" in your MAS90 location (it can vary by installation).

This will reinstall the workstation and create new .tmp files.

Hi

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried running the workstation setup.exe from the wkstation setup. But still it doesnt work and it still giving the same eror:
"File.../home/textout/T1091.tmp not found."

Please advice if there is anything we can do. I could see the file )T1091.tmp) in the server. But workstation is not picking up the same file when we run the wkstation setup. Also while uninstalling the workstation before we ran the setup again, it asked whether to delete the registry files and we accepted assuming it will reinstall again. Is that thing to do with this error?

Thanks again.

OK,

Here is how to change a workstation ID:

Have the failing workstation exit MAS 90.

Use Windows Explorer to locate the file "...\mas90\fid0map.ini".

Double click the file name. This will open the file in notepad.

Each entry will have an 8 character code, terminal ID and install date in the form:

DGRY5F21; 101 # Auto added 02/22/03
DGRY5F21; 102 # Auto added 02/22/03
etc...

Change all 109 entries to a new UNUSED terminal code. In the above case, NOT 101 or 102.

Re-enter MAS 90 and select user and company.

You should then be OK.

Thanks a Lot for the suggestion. I worked perfect to us.

Thanks guys your Post just saved me a ton of time.
