error synchronising with exchange 5.5 sp3 and outlook

when i setup offline folders for a user, and try to synchronise them I get the following error:

08:50:09 Error synchronizing folder
08:50:09 [80004005-501-0-550]
08:50:09 The client operation failed.
08:50:09 Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store

I have also noticed that I can't move, copy or delete more than 4 or 5 messages at once without the operation failing.

it seems this may have occured after the installation of the Microsoft hotfix for SP3

Can anyone help ?

I had a simular error. I was running RRAS and exchange 5.5 on the same server. After installing the SP3 for exch. I had errors both on the RRAS and the exch. If you l@@k in the error logs you may see your answer. Mine showed a service not starting because of an incorrect DLL. I installed SP6a again and it worked fine after that.
