Error Switching from debug to release

Hi,
When I change my project settings from debug to release, I get a set of errors in borland specific files such as ComCtrls.h and Db.hh (Files that I have not altered in any way). I get these errors when I hit build the first time, and then I do not alter any code and I build again, the errors are gone.
Any Ideas why this happens?
