Error stopping and starting Oracle HTTP Apache

Hi,

I am very new to Apache servers.

I have httpd under <ORACLE_9IAS_HOME>/Apache/Apache/bin
When I try to do the following, I get an error:

<ORACLE_9IAS_HOME>/Apache/Apache/bin > ./httpd start
Ouch! ap_mm_create(1048576, "/project4/iAS1022/src/buildarea/asg_apache/pre_shiphome/apache/logs/mm.30395") failed
Error: MM: mm:core: failed to open semaphore file (No such file or directory): OS: No such file or directory

I am logged in as user Oracle. Please help!
