Hi All,

I am unable to start enterprise 7. I get the following error message: Unable to convert registration master table.

When I start enterprise with userid sa I get the following message:
An error occured while using BCP utility-- Data was not correctly copied to the server. please verify your ODBC settings and that BCP utility has been correctly installed. eEntreprise utilities will now exit.

I have tested my ODBC connection and it is successful.
I can even use BCP from the command line to retrieve data from GP database successfully.

My environment:
Windows XP
I installed eEnterprise 7 Server/Client on my machine
I have installed SQL server 2000 Standard ( Client only ) on my machine.

Any Help or suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

This may be because a user is 'stuck' in the activity table.
Try deleting all the users from the activity table.

Thanks,
Joseph

Hi there

BCP error, it happened to me once as well.

I suggest you can do two following things:
1. Check the environment variable (Right click My computer >> Properties and Advanced) you might have to add it there.
2. Re-install the Great Plains (I had to do this).

Thanks
Dhariwal
