Hi there,

I have encountered this error "Starting background processing failed" with error code: 20614. Can anyone please help me with this.

Thanx :)

hello

Can you give more information on this issue? are you using ASP pages, an application or something? when exactly do you recieve this error message? also, does this report work correctly from the designer? What is the database that you are using?

I look forward to your answers and hopefully I can help.

Hi there,

I'm using ASP pages to send in query to Crystal Report. Actually I have the error message "User Session has expired" as well.

This report works perfectly alright from the designer. It's only when i try to send parameters via the ASP page that it gives me this error.

The database that i'm using is access. And my data source connection is via ODBC by setting up a DSN.

Thank you and I hope that above information will be sufficient.

Cheers :)

Hi there

Here are a couple of things you can try, first is the setlogoninfo as DCM as suggested, make sure that it is correct. Another thing is to make sure that your ODBC is System and not User DSN. One more thing to check on, or to change is in the report itself, click on Database, set location. In here, click on a/the table you are dealing with and remove the database and owner name for the table, you only want to see the table name. This will be for each and every table that you use in your report.

hope this helps.
