I'm trying to create 8 new ACD phones and when i went to transmitt the first new phone i received a message "SCH5070 The number of ACD Agents/Supervisors in the system is greater than the limit. You may need new disks with new ACD Agent/Supervisor limits."

We have licenses for 48 ACD licenses and there are only 20 phonesets aquired in symposium & 8 VPS Voice Ports. How can i find out what is using up the other 28 ACD licenses?

login into the pbx, go to LD22 and at the REQ prompt type SLT and post the result here

Sure - I did do this and it says we have 48 acd licenses but i'm not sure what is using all those 48 acd licenses. i have also ran inv generate sets & inv prt sets in ld 117 but that didn't help either.

Someone has configured 48 ACD sets, so if you are only using 20 then there are 28 left configured in the system. Some may be voice mail ports or access ports.

No ACD Agents license left.

Go to LD81 and at the REQ prompt type LST, hit enter till you get to FEAT. At the FEAT prompt type AGN and hit enter, FEAT will be prompted again, this time put in SPV and hit enter until the system spit out all agents and supervisor programmed on the PBX.

Now you can look at each TN and verify if they're valid agents/spv or not and delete as necessary.

thanks, i did run that in ld 81 and found that our mica takes up 20, call pilot takes up 8 and vps takes up 8 and we have 20 actual acd agents. is this normal, that these other devices are built using acd licenses? these numbers actually total more then the 48 that we are licensed for. any idea how much additional licenses cost? i already have a call into our sales rep but this was not something we were prepared to purchase. thanks!

I don't think the CallPilot ports will deduct from your license (even though they are ACD). At any rate, the phones and MICA will.

The MICA and VPS requires and uses ACD license, CP does too, but CP ACD agents do not count against the ACD license.

So if you add this up, 20 for the MICA, 8 for the VPS and 20 for your agents, all of this = your ACD Agents License.

CP ACD ports does not count against your ACD Agents license, but it does require you to have at least 1 to build them.

Once the ports are built, you're free to do with them as you wish. However, if you plan on adding anymore CP ports, you will not be able to, until you have at least 1 available ACD Agent license.

I believe the agent license are around 80.00 per, may have to buy in packs of 8 thought - the price depends on your vendor status with Nortel.

thanks so much for all your help, still waiting for vendor to give us pricing.
