Error saving machine specific IDR info Error: -1 1

Backup Exec 7.3 Build 2575. This error message started out of the blue, after two years of working successfully. I have rights to the area the IDR data to is copied to. The full error is:
Error saving machine specific Intelligent Disaster Recovery information to path \\server\d$\backup exec\NT\IDR\Data
Error: -1

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

i am getting an error = 6 when trying to update remote servers. i have version 8 for netware and happens when trying to save to sys:\bkupexec folder. sorry i dont have an answer for you.
