Error Restoring Transaction Log File

We have a home grown transaction log process that has been working fine until just now.

we have recieved the error
Weird error:
Server: Msg 3242, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
The file on device 'LogFile.trn' is not a valid Microsoft Tape Format backup set.
Server: Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
RESTORE LOG is terminating abnormally.

on a specific log file and has caused the database to be put into a loading state which is inaccessable.

Every Log file after the first one has the same error when i attempt to determine if it's a valid log file or not.

Has anyone seen this/knows of a way to resolve this issue?
