I have an error message which I cannot find in the Legato Documentation. Server is Legato 8.2 on Solaris 9, Client is Solaris 9. Lotus notes is V6.5. Backup of Notes Mailbox using Notes agent is fine.
the following screen captures show the commands and results >>>>>>
notesadm@prodinx2$ nsrnotesrc -v -s oranop2 -d /domino/restores -t "1151915454" /domino/lotus/notesdata/mail/10004983.nsf

notesadm@prodinx2$ nsrnotesrc -v -s oranop2 -d /domino/restores /domino/lotus/notesdata/mail/10004983.nsf

In both case the recovered file appears (and works) ok, but the error message suggests that some transactional data may be missing !!!!

transaction logs are circular transaction logs which are getting over written every x hrs which is before backing them up and therefore the transaction logs are never up to date
Fix: Change the setting for the transaction logs from circular logging to archive loggings.
